1. Service Description

In short: RideCircles helps parents coordinate carpools. We don't drive anyone.

RideCircles is a mobile application that facilitates carpool coordination between parents and guardians. The Service provides tools for creating carpool groups ("circles"), scheduling drives, tracking trips in real time, and communicating with circle members.

RideCircles does NOT provide transportation services. All driving arrangements are made directly between parents.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ or a legal guardian to use RideCircles.

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal guardian of a minor to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

Keep your account secure and your information accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your profile and vehicle details current, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

Use RideCircles for its intended purpose: safe school carpooling.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful carpool coordination purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Using the Service for commercial transportation
  • Providing false information
  • Harassing other users
  • Attempting to circumvent safety features
  • Using the Service in any way that endangers children

5. Intellectual Property

The app and its content belong to RideCircles.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by RideCircles and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

We provide the platform, but parents are responsible for their own driving.

RideCircles facilitates coordination between parents but does not guarantee the safety, reliability, or punctuality of any carpool arrangement. Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for the safety of children in their care.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideCircles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

Either party can end the relationship at any time.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
